INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

 

Pursuant to the European Regulation on the protection of personal data 679/2016 

FEVI Unipersonale srl (hereinafter "FEVI"), as Data Controller of personal data, operates in full compliance with national and European regulations on the protection of personal data. 

With this information on the processing of data, FEVI describes the methods of processing the personal data of users who fill out the contact form for a quote request, access the online chat and register for the webinars offered through its official sites. 

 

Type and source of the data processed

The data collection in a request for a customised quote for participation in webinars by users will involve the collection and consequent processing of personal data provided directly by the interested parties and strictly necessary to use the quoting, customer care and webinars services: name, surname, company / organisation, e-mail address, physical address, mobile phone. 

The processing will not concern data of a sensitive nature, pursuant to art. 9 Chapter I ("particular categories of personal data") of the Regulation (that are those data "... revealing racial and ethnic origin, religious, philosophical or other beliefs, political opinions, membership of parties, trade unions, associations or organisations of a religious, philosophical, political or trade union nature, as well as personal data revealing the state of health and sexual life ").

 

Purpose of the processing and legal basis

The processing of the personal data indicated above is necessary for the management of related activities by the Data Controller (eg. sending e-mail reminders, changes to events, reporting other similar events). The purposes described above do not require express consent, as they concern processing necessary for the execution of a contract. Communication activities (responses to users, information on events) are carried out to pursue FEVI's legitimate interest in cultivating the relationship with its users, by communicating initiatives and new services.

Video and photographic material 

The webinar will be recorded and made available on the FEVI website, giving users the opportunity to access the material even in the days following the event. Video recordings concern speakers only, not attendees.

Method and duration of the treatment

The processing is carried out through electronic tools owned by FEVI and with specific third-party software platforms for the management of videoconferences and for the publication of video content. In relation to these treatments, Fevi has adopted adequate security measures in order to ensure the integrity and confidentiality of the data. The data are kept for the time necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data were collected (eg sending quotes, participating in the webinar, subsequent sending of the material, information on other similar events organised by Fevi). Interested parties may request the termination of the processing at any time by contacting the Data Controller.

 

Nature of the provision

The provision of data is necessary for the regular provision of the service (use of the webinar). In case of failure to provide the data, it will in no way be possible for the interested party to access the services of interest.

 

Data communication scope

Personal data may be communicated to Fevi employees or collaborators and other related organisations; these subjects are formally charged and authorised to process and receive adequate operating instructions in this regard. The data may be processed by external companies which Fevi could use to manage the relationship with its users or for organisational needs of its business (eg. IT service providers, video and webinars platform managers). These subjects act as external data processors if necessary, or operate as independent data controllers.  The data could also be disclosed to judicial or supervisory authorities, administrations, public bodies in the exercise of their functions. The data are not subject to disclosure in any way.

Data transfer to third countries

The personal data collected for participation in the webinar will be stored by the provider of the relevant platform, which is based in the USA. The transfer takes place lawfully and with an adequate level of protection (in accordance with Article 45 of the GDPR) since the platform provider adhered to the Privacy Shield.

Rights of the interested party

At any time, you can exercise your rights towards the Data Controller, pursuant to EU Regulation 679/2016. The interested party has the right to obtain confirmation of the existence of personal data concerning him/her and their ommunication in an intelligible form. You also have the right to obtain an indication of the origin of the data, the purposes and methods of processing, of the Data Controller and Representative, of the subjects to whom the data may be communicated. The interested party has the right to have the data rectified, integrated, updated, as well as to obtain their cancellation or transformation into anonymous form. The interested party may at any time request the termination of the information sending, either by using the appropriate link at the bottom of the e-mails ("To unsubscribe") or by contacting the Controller via an e-mail message.
